Four men in bowler hats stand facing a large body of water, set against a turbulent sky. Three of the men are holding a gun behind their back. The fourth is holding a bouquet of roses. What's going on here? Why is this called, "The Traitor"? Is it implying the man holding the roses is, "The Traitor"? Is he killing someone with kindness? These are all questions that might arise upon seeing this painting. It's meant to conjure up ideas and make one think. Did it work?
I consider myself to be a modern day surrealist, heavily influenced by my all-time favorite artist, Rene Magritte. I paint ideas. My goal is to paint the impossible, or at least, the highly improbable. With my paintings, you can always tell what's going on, you just don't necessarily know why. I want my paintings to tell stories that make you think. And if I can bring a smile to your face, that's even better. Enjoy! And please consider buying an item or two - they make excellent conversation starters!

Love it! I claim the 3rd guy.

Thank you, James. The man in the bowler hat is my ongoing homage to Rene Magritte - who, in my humble opinion, ranks among the best painters of all time when you combine his imagination and mastery of the brush.
