Description
Everyone has heard the expression, "The Elephant in the Room". I decided to paint it. I wanted the elephant to dominate the room. Originally, I contemplated having furniture in the room but I decided instead to boil it down to the most basic of elements. An elephant. A room. Putting the two together creates a rather startling image! As far as what style this is, I really don't know. Is it realistic? Surrealistic? Fantasy? Pop Art? None or all of the above. That's for the viewer to decide. I think it's a whole new category - Idiomatic Art.

This is an exceptional image, with a fascinating description !…your distillation process worked to perfection, as an image of each of the two words says all that needs to be said. Even a non English speaker that could not read the title would recognize the cliche, (assuming that they were already familiar with it).
