There's something about a sunset on the water that is truly magical. For many of us, (myself included) that opportunity doesn't come around all that often. Standing in the water, witnessing a sunset is even more awesome - especially when you've got the love of your life right beside you. It's a magical moment that I decided to see if I could capture via brushstrokes. In creating this piece, I was driven by the profound beauty of connection and the serene moments we share with loved ones. The rich, warm hues of the setting sun extends out onto the water. The silhouettes of the couple are meant to be somewhat nebulous - and ordinary. Could be me. Could be you. This work is meant to radiate a calming, yet vibrant energy into any space, invoking the spirit of unity and the resplendent glow of life's golden moments.

I consider myself to be a modern day surrealist, heavily influenced by my all-time favorite artist, Rene Magritte. I paint ideas. My goal is to paint the impossible, or at least, the highly improbable. With my paintings, you can always tell what's going on, you just don't necessarily know why. I want my paintings to tell stories that make you think. And if I can bring a smile to your face, that's even better. Enjoy!
