This is the third in a series. I started with Big Banana. Then came Big Orange. Now comes Big Apple. The reason I call them 'Big' is because they are. The apple you're looking at is more than 2-1/2 feet tall on a 36" x 36" canvas. It's a pretty striking image. But when you put all three of these fruit paintings together, they command a room and would look great as prints in a kitchen or dining area or company cafeteria - and as original art, they would look even more awesome.
I consider myself to be a modern day surrealist, heavily influenced by my all-time favorite artist, Rene Magritte. I paint ideas. My goal is to paint the impossible, or at least, the highly improbable. With my paintings, you can always tell what's going on, you just don't necessarily know why. I want my paintings to tell stories that make you think. And if I can bring a smile to your face, that's even better. Enjoy! And please consider buying an item or two - they make excellent conversation starters!
